The forty-first and current update introduces a new underwater area, called the Coral Reefs; which also includes a new animal, jellyfish. Another major addition is the introduction of turn-based multi-player for Battle of the Gods. The update also implements use of iOS 5, including iCloud.

Episode 40: Battle of the Gods!

Pit pygmy against pygmy in an all new game, Battle of the Gods! Collect at least four idols in the Challenge of the Gods, go to God Island on the map, set idols on the pedestals to open the temple and enter the battle arena. All the gods of the game are your enemies that you must battle. The god idols you've collected endow your fighting pygmy with a REALM TYPE and ATTACK TYPE. A spin on the basic rock-paper-scissors mechanic, these attributes determine a Realm Winner, which activates special powers, and an Attack Winner which determines who does damage to the opponent. Check out the pygmies' fancy fighting moves in this exciting new addition!

But don't forget, in order to acquire god Idols, you must take the Challenge of the Gods! While the objective of Pocket God is to explore, experiment and have fun, we now offer a whole new way to discover you god powers. On the start screen, tap "View Challenges" and you will see a menu of Icons for the last 40 episodes. Tap an icon and you will be challenged to go find all the godly powers bestowed upon you for that episode.

How to Create It

There are two ways to create it:

Make it nighttime (drag the sun below the horizon, making it the moon). Then, as the Pygmies are sleeping, tap the Moon a few times to summon the Vampire Bat. The vampire bat will bite a sleeping Pygmy, making a Vampire Pygmy. Then, when Charlie feels like it, he will turn into the Vatican Assassin Warlock and proclaim "I'm a High Priest Vatican Assassin Warlock" and the Vampire will explode the same way it does if you bring the sun back up (presumably because the Vatican Assassin is so bright it destroys the vampire).
Summon the Storm clouds. If Charlie doesn't get close enough to a Pygmy to perform his Tiger Pygmy slice in half action, he may take on his Vatican Assassin form and summon a bolt of Lightning from the sky to kill a Pygmy.
